Boston-based artist Behnaz Monzavi creates interdisciplinary work spanning painting, printmaking, textiles, and sculptural forms. Drawing from Persian visual traditions and her lived experience, Monzavi examines identity, resistance, and cultural memory in relation to Iran’s sociopolitical landscape. Her layered, narrative-driven practice reflects on migration, resilience, and the complex ties between personal history and collective memory.
